Only 1 Thing Likes A Government Shut Down: Peregrine Falcons!

 Peregrine falcons pick out individual birds.  It is safer for them to dive at a small number of birds than at a larger flock.   As the Peregrine birds have recently been encouraged to prosper, we are now reducing flock sizes with these damn Chinese-fostered bird flu epidemics.  The loss of our flocks of birds due to these waves of viruses is an ecological problem likely to be exacerbated by an increase in the number of predatory birds like the Peregrin Falcon.  Without intervention, a collapse could happen beyond our imagination: A true Silent Spring may be imminent.

We would miss our Starlings.
