Rights Striped From Guantanamo Bay Prisoners

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/11/politics/11detain.html?th&emc=th

Guantanamo prisoners are not to be given access to US courts!
The bill to strip Guantanmo Bay prisoners has passed 49 to 42. This is not protecting our troops and citizens from foreign militia!

Drug dealers/money laundriers from their country flew planes into our builidings, and then we invaded their country. These prisoners need rights to our courts like there never has been! Was it nationalism only that caused them to protect their homeland, or were they a memeber of a US Jihad?

Repbulicans who voted against the Bill were Senators: Specter, John E. Sununu of New Hampshire, Gordon H. Smith of Oregon, and Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island.

Five Democrats voted for the bill were Senators: Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Kent Conrad of North Dakota and Ron Wyden of Oregon.

All from Red States except for Liberman who was VERY PRO-IRAQ WAR.

(Perhaps Senator Lieberman should have focused on Iran)
